Our menu is a celebration of authentic Italian cuisine, curated by Sergio, who sources specialty ingredients like cured meats, cheeses, tomatoes, capers, and olives directly from Italy. Fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, and high-quality mozzarella and buffalo products come from carefully selected, often small-batch producers to ensure unique flavors and top quality.
Structured in the traditional Italian way, our menu follows the Italian dining format: Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, Contorni, and Dolce. Additionally, we feature:
- Oyster & Seafood Bar
- Mozzarella Bar (in collaboration with Il Casaro cheese makers)
- Friggitoria (a section dedicated to Italian fried specialties)
We offer seven different pasta dishes, including three handmade options, and our Neapolitan-style pizza (12-13 inches), known for its soft, elastic, tender, and fragrant crust—with 13 different pizzas, including a calzone. Our daily meat and fish specials highlight seasonal freshness. The menu is updated seasonally, ensuring the best ingredients at their peak.
We also cater to vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-friendly diets, offering classic Italian dishes that naturally fit these needs.
Our Bar Food Menu is a curated selection from our full menu, featuring all the dishes that can be enjoyed at the bar—perfect for an aperitivo. Served daily from 3 to 5 PM, it includes some of our signature, must-try dishes, making it an essential part of the Farina experience.
For dessert, we offer a mix of Italian classics—like Tiramisù and Cannoli—alongside modern twists on traditional sweets. These can be perfectly paired with coffee or a selection of dessert wines. And for a true Italian finish, don’t miss our Amaro and Grappa!
Our Bambini Menu features Italian kids’ favorites: simple pastas, lasagna, classic pizzas (but no Hawaiian!), veal cotoletta, gelato, and a folded pizza filled with Nutella. Simple, delicious, and just like in Italy!
Our wine list is extensive, with a strong focus on Italian wines, while also showcasing some of New Zealand’s best selections.
At the bar, we stock something for everyone but take pride in our Italian aperitivos and digestivos, featuring a great range of Italian vermouth, amaro, and grappa, alongside staples like Tequila, Whisky, Gin, and Cognac.
For cocktails, we go beyond trends, using real produce, premium ingredients, and housemade cordials and liqueurs. Inspired by Italian flavors, our cocktails are designed to be greater than the sum of their parts. We also create seasonal specials and craft personalized drinks for guests when the opportunity arises.
